How meal planning works in Daily Crush

Plan meals for the week

Open the Meals calendar, pick a day, and add what you're making. Each day holds several meals, so you can map out breakfast, lunch, dinner, and snacks for the whole week at a glance.

  • Calendar view of your meals
  • Several meals per day
  • Add details like ingredients or notes

See meals alongside the rest of your schedule

The meals you plan don't live in a separate app. They appear on your daily Planner in their own card, next to your tasks, schedule, and routines, so you know what's for dinner while you plan the rest of your day.

  • Meals card on your Planner
  • Next to tasks and schedule
  • Look back at meals on past days

Keep your meal plan in one place

Your own meals and your shared meal plan sit together in one calendar. When you add a meal, you choose where it goes, and shared meals are shown in a different color so they're easy to tell apart.

  • One calendar for every meal
  • Choose My Meals or the shared plan
  • Shared meals clearly marked

Personal and shared meal planning

Plan just for yourself, or create a shared meal plan and invite the people you eat with. Editors can add and change meals, viewers can follow along, and anyone can record their own portion privately.

  • Private personal meals
  • Shared plan with editors and viewers
  • Private portions on shared meals

Optional nutrition snapshots

Add as much detail as you like, and Daily Crush can give each meal a quick nutrition estimate with a Meal Balance Score, strengths, and things to consider. These are estimates to help you notice patterns, not medical advice.

  • Meal Balance Score from 0 to 10
  • Estimated nutrients
  • Meal trends in your analytics

Why plan meals in your everyday planner?

Dedicated meal apps and paper lists work, but they're one more thing to open and keep up with. When meals live in the planner you already use, they stay part of your day.

One less app to check

You see today's meals on your Planner while you plan everything else, without switching tools.

Meals fit around your day

With your schedule and meals side by side, it's easier to plan a quick dinner on a busy evening.

Everything stays together

Your meals, shared plan, tasks, and journals live in one place, and past days are there when you want to look back.
